We are a very brief walk to the beach and most any dining or shopping area. Patong Beach is not a big area, and there is no place that is really very far away. Only the beach area was affected by the Tsuanmi.

There is great dining in Patong, with so many fine places to eat representing many different nationallities. Kenya's Seahag has great qual;ity Thai food, La Cucina's for great Italian food. Sphinx has fine dining in a great atmoshere. Enjoy their show in the upstairs proscenium theater! Ask Joel.

Aquarius Restaurant, is next door and has really good western and Thai food. Newspaper is a very stylish restaurant with what we call: Real Food. There are Lots of Others. and " All Right Here."

If you can ride a motorbike, the roads around the island are good, perfect way to see a lot of the island.

Phuket Town is 19 KM away, and has lots of neat stuff to see, as well as the other beaches, and mountain roads are a lot of fun.

Rawai Beach and Banana Corner are at the bottom of the island, and a fine ride and an excellent way to learn more of the Island.

From Iron Man type athletes, to slow jogging on the beach, or just long walks in Paradise, this place is heaven for outdoor exercise.

There is a pretty good pool with very warm water called Patong Bay, that is great for swimming or surfing or whatever it is you want to do in the water.

Patong Gym, around the corner has all the pro exercise equipment anyone could want. We'll keep you in shape.

If you are bicycle rider, there are mountain bikes for rent. lots of fun. Phuket has serious and fantastic off road trails, and if you want, guides are available to ride with you.

If you are a serious road cyclist, bring your bike, the roads here are near perfect, with lots of open riding and more than a few tough hills. There are some European pro riders that train here in the winter. You'll see why.
